How to make an engaging LinkedIn post to catch eyes from people I’ve networked with in IB?

So I am a freshman at a non-target with an M&A internship coming up in the next couple of weeks. After my first week, I want to make about regarding what I have done so far and all I am learning. I have been connecting with Investment Bankers in my area and will be reaching out to them later this summer. As far as the post to grab attention and get my name in memory, what should I say in the post or picture in it?

Later on in the summer, I will be reaching out to them individually saying something along the lines of, “I am loving my M&A experience so far, and would love to have a coffee chat to discuss Blah Blah Investment Bank and how transferable my skills would be to an internship for 2025.” Does that sound good?

You want to have at least 2,000 words minimum so they know you are willing to work hard. Talk about running the model and "loving the grind". For the image in the post take a photo of some confidential information you think would be interesting for your network.

Also, instead of waiting until later in the summer to reach out just put "I am still available for an internship in Summer 2025, get me while you can!"

Seriously, do not make this post. You will not be memorable in any way except bad for something like this.

Id say that 99% of LinkedIn posts make me want to gouge my eyes out. Just reach out to them individually, and have a quick line in the email telling them about your experience and why you want to connect.

Most of the really successful people I have on LinkedIn barely post anything. It's not a bad idea if you're an entrepreneur / at a small firm and trying to make a name for yourself. Considering I'm an apsiring entrepreneur, I may be one of those cringe posters once I start out on my venture.

Some of the largely followed thought leaders are laughable. I follow one and thought he had some really interesting takes. Seemed like a reasonable ethical guy. Looked him up and he went to jail for nearly 3 years and had to pay nearly $10M for some illegal trades he did (in a completely different industry to what he 'covers' now). Lmfao. LinkedIn is wild. Still follow him too lol becaue he actually does better research than some journalists I follow.
