How to move towards better roles?

I am a law student in Europe and I am not from what could be called a "target school" nor a country where finance is highly developed but I got the opportunity to be an Account Manager in an European IB (CS, UBS, DB).

I understand that it is far away to be related to IB because it is mostly an administrative position, but as I am interested in transitioning from law to finance and I have 0% relevant experience to be eligible for a better position I see this as a good opportunity to get a little exposure to finance.

Any strategies or advices about how to move from here to a better position in the finace industry? Are there materials or perks at which I have access as an employee that will make me a better candidate in the future? Consider that I will stay in the position for half a year.
