How to network as first year analyst
Hi there,
I’m a first-year analyst in a BB’s regional office with a non-target background. My team is very “nuclear” in that there’s no other junior or mid-level member.
While I am happy that I’m given more responsibility, I find myself having a hard time trying to build a network in the industry. Apparently, I’m from a non-target, so there are not many alumni on the street. Also, I don’t have the chance to speak to junior people and make more friends, so I often feel lonely. Finally, not sure what I can do to prepare for future exit in this case.
I’d very much appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts.
