How Tough Are Corporate Finance Jobs To Get Compared to I-Banking/Consulting?

Hi,

I'm interested in doing corporate finance at a Fortune 500 company and then eventually moving into managerial roles at the company. I was wondering how difficult these sorts of positions are to get generally compared to i-banking, consulting and Big 4? Even though I go to a non-target, it seems like most of the toppers aim to work in investment banking, consulting and the top accounting students jack off to the Big 4/other large public accounting firms. Therefore, I'm wondering if financial analyst positions at large companies are that difficult to get, since it seems that most of the talent goes elsewhere? I know that not everyone who tries will get into banking, consulting or big 4 accounting, but if a good amount of talent is already poached from those places, is it that difficult to get into corporate finance even if the firm doesn't specifically come down to your campus?

Thanks
