It's easier to get hired if you are a MILLIONAIRE.

Good point IP. REAL good point.

My suggestion to the OP would be to gather enough money so that you don't give a fuck about a particular job or about whether you're short or fat or ugly or whatever. NOT giving a FUCK helps you IMMENSELY. Being RICH helps you NOT GIVE A FUCK. So, get a lot of money would be the logical suggestion.

You need to get out of your head and stop sabotaging yourself.

Don't like the way you look? Do something about it. Stop channeling your negativity towards others ("gorilla violent persona") and start making changes in your life.

-Cut out all the sweets/unhealthy foods you currently eat -Hire a personal trainer -Talk to a nutritionist -Read some self development books -Start going out and talking to different people

I could add tons of bullet points here, but the truth of the matter is that you need to make a mental change more so than a physical change.

You already are a "dominant force" and you already have everything you want to become inside of you. All you need to do is stop the negative self talk and take ACTION to make positive changes in your life.

Hey, don't be so mean to yourself. I guess, your height is not that bad at all. Your not short but your height is just average for a typical man so who the heck would tell you your short enough for every job that your applying for. If you think your fat then work on it. Work on your goals and you need to start now. There's nothing impossible really if you just believe in yourself. First thing you must do is to build your confidence and stop blaming your parents for who and what you are. Instead, be proud of yourself. Having a decent and stable job will base on your experiences, credentials, skills and expertise. They will not really look on your physical appearance but for you to be able to cope up with your depression, then build start building up your confidence through improving your looks so that you can concentrate more on improving your life.

Drop a deuce in front of everyone. Then strut around doing the river dance to establish dominance ;P

In all seriousness, it could just be a matter of you not having self confidence and assurance in yourself. You aren't really considered short (average height is ~176 CM if i recall) so you're around the periphery. What you can do to improve is stop beating yourself up over things outside your control and build actualization of the self.

There are a number of mediums you can use to improve your self-confidence. Weightlifting, having meaningful conversations, and not taking one's self too seriously are all factors that will help you become the idealized version of yourself.

Drop 15-20 pounds, lift heavy weights, kick arse at work, and enjoy some Brunello. I can assure you that all will certainly be well. Your own worst enemy is often yourself. Once that enemy is vanquished, boundless opportunity awaits :)

As an analyst it shouldn't even matter. Just look at the analyst classes at banks these days and you'll see it's really not the athletes, frat bros, and well-groomed ivy kids of yesteryear. Of course that population will be a mainstay in a male-dominated industry like finance pretty much indefinitely, but nowadays you'll see just as many women, minorities, and unattractive people. Honestly, as an analyst banking is pretty close to a meritocracy. As long as you can manage a modicum of likability, which even the most unfortunate looking people should be able to do with effort.

I gained an extra 60 pounds after I joined finance. I still get laid. I think it's thanks to my charm, and my "networking skillz" (read my first thread) (shameless self-promotion here). If you're really concerned about your phat and your height, join some quanty firm like Jane Street or some tech company that doesn't care about how their employees look. One friend of mine at JS is so fat he looks like Tito Hamze.

Troll.. If this was actually serious.. well there's an easy way to solve the weight-part of your problem: Eat clen, tren hard. But in all seriousness, better nutrition and regular workouts will go a long way.

Even if this is a troll, I believe there's enough people out there having anxiety and feeling inferior because of their looks (race, religion etc.), hence here's a genuine answer.

I know tons of people who heavily struggle with their bodies and are disadvantaged, while others of similar posture succeed. I believe its about inner attitude. Those who succeed make their bodies a non-issue in their daily interactions -they own the situation. They exclude BMIs, body fat ratios, lack of kidney stones etc. from the reference system in how they view/value/judge themselves as a human being and define themselves upon measures in which they succeed, not the ones that society instills upon them (e.g. IQ, emotional intelligence, character, how much they can drink etc.). Inevitably defining your own measures of value will make you feel more confidant. If you define the rules, you win the game. If you don't transport a sense of discomfort with your body in your daily interactions, people don't give a damn. genuinely, how often do you even care about someone else unironed shirt, someone elses pimple, big/small feet or if that person transpires. the thing that usually happens, is that you make these things an issue in your head and by that means they end up defining the situation you are in. You'll feel uncomfortable, people sense it, stop listening, start watching you, wonder why you're uncomfortable and insecure, see why that might be and end up being judgemental.

I know this takes a lot of effort psychologically, but some things (e.g. height, slightly stronger posture etc) you cannot change. change your mindset, start owning them, and you'll succeed.

Learn delayed gratification. Instead of getting instant gratification by eating that whole box of pop tarts while you sit on your butt playing video games all day, embrace the (initial) suck and go walk a mile. If that's too hard, walk around the block. Make small increases every day. Or swim, if you hate walk/running. Start doing pushups, daily. Choose to be active, not sedentary. Stop eating garbage, see food for what it is (fuel) and feed your body what it needs to run properly.

And watch the fat melt off and the confidence build up.

Become one of two things - charismatic or machiavellian. You may have been dealt a shit spot in the gene pool, but there are things you can do to improve. Accentuate your strengths and down play your weaknesses.

At the very least, you can become the guy everyone underestimates. Become the perpetual underdog.
