IB Analyst Informal Process NYC
Hey guys so I applied to a BB bank for an IB analyst role in a niche department within IB. This department has a lean team so it’s just the MD, a director and 4 analysts. After applying I networked with the MD and after a conversation with her, she had me talk to the director and now the director wants me to meet all the analysts tomorrow as a next step. Does this sound like a final round to you guys???
There’s no one else on the team that I can talk to after this. I’m just uncertain because none of this was through the recruitment process, it happened entirely through networking.

Hey congrats! I don't think they would go through all the trouble if they didn't want to hire you. I think the analysts are there to give a check the box approval. They might throw some basic technicals at you but I'm guessing it should be relatively chill. Good luck
