IB and alternative path with No experience - 27yo

Good evening Gentlemen,

I'm a 27 yo French who choose a little too late to break into M&A in Europe, mostly France, Luxembourg, Switzerland. I am ready to move.

My ultimate goal is to go IB and stay there for the long run. If I'm not on Prozax after a year.

But as you can see on my resume there isn't the slightest transferable experience. When reading M&Inquisition and WSO, I can't compete with 23yo graduate who already did multiple related internships. Do I have at least a chance to get an interview ? Even for internships

I have read that lateral from CB to IB could be an "easier" entry. I'm currently applying for permanent contract/internship: as Big 4 m&a analyst, IB analyst, CB Analyst (rare), Corp Dev Analyst (rare).

As a plan B what other position should I consider that is less demanding but highly transferable to IB ?

Remember, I'm in Europe. Could a MBA be worth it ? Didn't dig it but the cost seem HUGE money/time wise as it doesn't garantee a job.

Don't hesitate to share your experience or anything related that could help. I'm going back to my applications hehe.

Thank you in advance for your time !
