IB Exit Opps After First Year at Top BB - Corp Dev, HF?

Wanted to see if anyone who recently quit had experience with the above. I just completed my first year in banking at a top BB (GS/MS/JP) and the detriment to mental and physical health has proven too great, so have been applying to roles on the corp dev side and letting headhunters know I am interested in HF roles with an early exit, as well as getting started with networking/recruiting through alumni networks.

Wanted to find out how much of a difference 1-year vs. 2-years of banking makes in terms of salary and availability of opportunities when going into Corp Dev or HF, and what kind of salary expectations I should have at each level. Looking for significantly improved WLB, but keep oscillating between 'maybe another year just to have it in the books' and 'I can't take another week of how terrible this is', so thought it may be helpful to get others' more objective thoughts.
