IB FT Offer- recruiting timeline and options for seniors?

I am currently a junior and although my resume/stats are good, my internship fell through because I have to stay home for the summer (familial reasons). I accepted an IB internship at a practically new firm because it is remote so I am able to do it while being near my family. As I head into my senior year, is it even possible to get an internship at a top firm? I know Goldman for example has a program like that, but I have heard that nobody takes FT analysts right out of school that didn't have a junior year internship with them. With some networking and a good resume (minus this summer's low profile internship which I could explain to them), could it be possible? Would anybody recommend maybe doing an off-cycle internship? Also what is the timeline for applying directly to 2022 full time offers?
