IB Internship With No Relevant Experience?
I’m currently at sophomore at a low semi-target school with a 3.5 gpa. I’m majoring in finance with a minor in math. IB internships for 2024 have opened already and I was wondering if I had a shot with no internship last summer. I have plenty of work experience but none in relation to finance in any capacity. Is it worth applying and/or has anyone received an offer in a similar position? Thank you in advance.
I say you have a pretty good chance. Like those internships start in 15 months so you have plenty of time to grow. Just make sure you're able to convey how you'd be of good value despite your lack of experience.
