IB middle market vs S&T at a BB

Hi guys, i just received two offers, one from a boutique middle market Investment Banking firm and the other one is an analyst graduate program on S&T at a BB. Both of them in my country (LatAm). I want to do a career in finance, but still don’t know if I want IB or S&T. Which one do you think it’s better?

Don’t touch S&T as a career, even at a BB. I would take the IB role at the boutique. From what people are saying on this forum, the lateral market is hot right now due to a higher than usual number of leavers due to wfh conditions, so if you wanted to I don’t see why you couldn’t lateral to a BB shortly after if going to a BB was your preference
