David transitioned from an analyst position at JP Morgan to a leading middle-market PE firm, and Eric broke into private equity from a boutique consulting firm. While it's not the norm, both mentors have built successful PE careers without an MBA.
David is the Managing Partner of Clover Capital Partners, a private equity firm that he founded. He also spent six years with two leading private equity firms - Prospect Partners and The Riverside Company. While at Prospect Partners, David was promoted from Associate to Vice President without earning his MBA and led the pre-MBA recruiting process.
Eric spent five years as a deal professional for The Riverside Company. Previously, he worked for Norwest Equity Partners, a private equity fund with $4.6 billion AUM. He transitioned to Norwest after working for Marakon Associates.
