IB prospect in the Netherlands needs help in aligning future internships
Heyy, I’m currently an incoming bachelor 2nd year in the Netherlands (non-Dutch speaker) at (UVA/RSM) and I have an IB internship in my Asian (Singapore/HK/Japan/…) home country right now. So, I’m planning for my IB path in Europe right now. However, afaik, firms in the Netherlands don’t look for interns who are still in their undergrads, and firms in the UK might not even look at my CV given that I’m from a semi-target school and I will have to compete with both the British 1st year bachelors and the European masters students for the next SA cycle. Thus, I’m kinda afraid that I can’t find a relevant IB internship in my next summer, making a downgrade from my current IB role in my home country in my CV. Thus, I’m posting here to ask you guys who have any experience with recruiting for IB in the Netherlands/UK in their European bachelors to help with my situation/give any insight in the IB recruiting market here. Cheers!
