If I reject SA 2023 Offer, Can I Recommend Someone Else?

If I reject an offer for SA 2023, can I recommend someone else I knew that did a first-round interview (haven't gotten rejected yet so I assume he/she is waitlisted?). I know this person is really smart and this bank is his/her top choice, but I'm not enthusiastic about the offer at all and I have a good chance to land a SA at a different bank that is my top choice. Assuming he/she is waitlisted, would it be appropriate to tell the bank to take a look at the other person after I reject the offer? This is for a MM bank, not sure if that would change the situation than a BB

i have no experience in this but I can confidently say 100% no

why would they value your input, you proved that you might be a good employee so they gave you an internship, that doesn't mean you can spot talent

I have no clue but I would say it might depend if you have a relationship with someone at the firm then you could just tell them directly. You could be like “thanks so much blah blah, I had a great time learning about your firm unfortunately I already accepted an offer elsewhere. Apologies for the inconvenience, I do know of someone who I think would be a great fit for the role who id be happy to recommend / connect with you” or if you’re really really cool with someone at the firm just be straight up but if you don’t have strong relationships there they probably won’t value ur input at all so not worth it
