Incoming Intern, Low GPA

Hi all. I will be a summer associate in S&T (trading) and currently a grad student at top 10 school. I have a 2.95 GPA but didn't list it when applying. Will this immediately disqualify me from a return offer once I have to submit my GPA for some background check? The GPA is a long story, but I'm a course assistant and research assistant for two different professors, president of a finance club, and also did a varsity sport in undergraduate. I know I will work hard every day in the summer, but am I cooked full time? What should be my approach if it's brought up? Any advice would be great
