Put summer in front of whatever full timers are called.

summer financial advisor? No.

Go with the name of the bank's PWM division, then Intern.

Ex: Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group Intern

Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group summer analyst

banc of america merill lynch investment consultant global private client full time summer analyst intern

however, my understanding from my time at ML is the only GPC "interns" with the SA title were the ones who were getting paid (which was almost none, in one of their bigger offices). as i wasnt getting paid, I was told to stick with intern

but, maybe they were wrong/its different at different banks/im overthinking it

Sorry for the misconception, but it was just one of those lame financial advisory internships. It wasn't at a BB summer program... I guess I shouldn't have used the term pwm.

So, should I just title it as "wealth management intern?" To me, it sounds better than "financial advisory internship" or something of that sort.

You can always just put summer analyst.

capt K said it right, it really doesn;t matter. the bullet points of what you did are way more important. we will know if you were a financial advisory intern from the info we get from your description of the duties. i would try to make these as effective as possible
