International students breaking into investment banking

Hey everyone,

This has been something that I have been wanting an opinion on for a while now. I am an international student from India trying to break into the global markets division of Investment banking. I wanted to reach out to other international students who have broken into that career and wanted to know their opinion on if it is just harder for us since the company itself will have to sign some OPT/CPT documents or is it just a hoax?

Thank you
