Internship application struggles

First time posting here and wanting to share some of my struggles with the application processes for IB and hopefully get some advice. About me: I just graduated from a semi-target uni in London and during my time at uni, I kept on getting rejections after rejections and only one Superday at JP Morgan Private Bank(which I didn't get the summer internship). I have consulted numerous online resources, CV workshops and asked alumnus from the industry on how to format my CV, write the cover letters/application questions and take the psychometric tests. I just can't grasp what I am doing wrong or right. As of now, I will be attending a prestigious master's program at a target business school in France and will apply for internships for next year. I am also fluent in three languages (English, French and Chinese), which I think will be a competitive advantage in France. I just wanted to get some advice from you guys and hopefully not fuck up. Thank you in advance!

Edit: I also wanted to clarify that I do not have prior experience in finance.
