Internship at AB
Has anyone ever went through AllianceBernstein's interview process? I got an email inviting me to their information session/Q&A/interview day in New York. The interview is for their summer private client internship. I am just wondering what I can expect on this day. Also, I would greatly appreciate if anyone can share their first hand experience with AB.
Just recently went through the recruiting process for a summer internship position (In Retail Sales Division) at their NYC headquarters. It's mostly (well mine was at least) fit questions, they ask about your extra-curricular activities, favorite classes, how much you know about the company, why you want to work for them, etc... They also explain a lot about the company and how they operate and what their plans for the future are. I found everyone I met at the headquarters to be very friendly and willing and eager to reach out to you during the interview process. Great corporate culture! AB is definitely going to remain a big player in the Asset Management industry.
I'm going to that event too. Does anyone know what the Private Client internship entail. Is it essentially training for becoming a stockbroker?
