Internship Background Screening

Hi All, I recently completed my background screening for 2022 IB Summer Analyst but am a little unnerved as I had a few problems during my background check that took 2 weeks before completing and the HR emailed me to clarify on certain points:

- Name of internship place differed from contract. The company I was legally employed under is newly incorporated and currently wholly owned by the parent company. They are in the midst of planning a spin off, and I was helping out with another division that is currently under the parent, but the division will be moving over to the new company after. I used the parent company's name instead of the new company and planned to revert once they have announced the structural changes.

- Did double internship though contract mentions full-time work for both. Both were actually part-time but for one, it was just an amended contract to extend the end period, and the other was supposed to be for a 1 month project. Both my superiors (MD and CFO+CEO-designate) were aware of the other internship. Was told that the job was for 1 month in March, but they had to put it till April to pay me for a month's work, so it triggered an alert since I indicated that it was only till March on my resume.

One of the above internship started only after I had gotten and signed the offer letter for the IB summer analyst role, so my earlier resume did not have these conflicts upon application.

- I did internship extensions for 2 internships that they couldn't confirm with my previous employer as they stuck to the period that they paid for my work and not for the unpaid work periods. This is my main concern as I read that they might flag it out as attempting to deceive even though the internships are not relevant to IB.

- Somehow they could not contact my current internship employer though my contact told me no one had called her. I obtained a recommendation letter from my superior and submitted that instead, and they completed the screening. This is the only relevant internship to IB and I am still interning at the company (submitted contract for 10 months period, up till March 2022, IB offer was in Nov 2021).

I've learnt my lesson about keeping the dates strictly to contract-stated periods for simplicity, but would like to know if my offer will be rescinded because of these discrepancies during the background check. It's been 8 days since I got the confirmation from the HR that the background screening is completed, and I am not sure if I should wait for them to get back to me or to send them an email to check.

*Other information:

- They recently bumped up the intern salary, so I am hoping this is a good indication of the company performance.

- I had previously attempted to request for an earlier start date for the internship as there is a 1 month gap between my final paper and the start of the internship, but they did not allow for the earlier start.

- I do have a tendency to do multiple part-time jobs as I am not well-to-do and I would often request for internship extensions/my superiors would offer them. I did not think much about the contracts as they were still paying me and I know that they would like to avoid paying certain employment contributions that I do not mind. I have gotten my superior to sign my contracts and will make sure to do so moving forward.

- My alternatives are to either start interviewing for a full-time summer internship which is likely going to be a really hard to find, and/or to extend my current year long internship alongside a research assistant role that I had just gotten (both of my superiors are flexible as long as I get the job done on time).

Appreciate any advice and if anyone has been in similar situations before. Thank you!
