Internship Help - Graduating this Spring
Hello,
I'm going to be graduating this spring from UT and was wondering if there are many opportunities in the area for spring internships in Houston. I'm currently in Houston and completing my last course remotely.
I've heard of some companies offering spring internships, but I'm wondering if there are many in Houston and if so where should I be looking/searching. I'll take whatever I can get, paid or unpaid. I can start as soon as possible.
Also, when would be the ideal time to look?

I just got a spring internship offer (granted, I am far away from Houston). Started looking in mid-November. If you cold-call smaller firms, they're more likely to create an intern position if you prove that you can save them time.
Any idea what to say when you cold call. I would just be at a lost of words lol. Any advice or any known firms in Houston?
