Hi, my fellow finance brothers.
I am 21 year old last year student in business school and currently candidate of CFA level 1. I am decided to build my career in finance. Recently I found out that one education fund in my country offers young graduates a professional internship in US. Since my country is very small and finance is not so develop I think it would be good idea to learn from one of the best out of the best. So I am asking you the inside information which companies investment banks, funds, banks, brokerage would be the best place for young graduate who wants to understand basics. Since the organization will provide living in NY for at least 6 months I am looking for a company which along the process can not only provide with experience but with training as well.
As far as I can say my job experience which can be maybe taking serious are few months in Ernst and Young audit department and and research analyst position in Dukascopy Bank SA(Swiss bank) office in Riga
