Current Junior from non-target school trying to get into IB. Didn’t make it to any of the BB or mid-market super days I think simply because of my lack of connection with any higher ups and because of non-target status. (Didn’t understand until recent how much those connections mattered) Trying to jump on any opportunities left that could still set me up with a solid full time offer afterwards. Is anyone aware of any mid-market banks that are still hiring? Should I start cold calling a bunch of boutiques? Are there any other solid analyst positions that are still actively recruiting? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!
The best thing for you to do now is to start cold emailing and calling. The MM's probably are pretty much done, but you can still try. Focus on the boutiques the most though, as they will be more willing to hire at this time of year than larger firms.
