Internships for highschool students
I'm 16 and looking for finance/business internships over the summer. Any suggestions on what firms/banks to apply to in the NJ/NYC area?

None take high students, just people with geds or high school degrees

definitely cold-call/cold-email funds. don't apply through portals because you'll just be autoscreened
I would target local or boutique firms. Most firms won't take HS students and you want to do something that is manageable. I worked local unpaid internships in RE when I was in HS. Would just ask around in your network and you can probably find something. Interning in HS helped me a lot in the long run, now I've got an IB gig lined up this summer.
