Interview experience at Rothschild London for Internship
Any advice? Is the first round purely competency or are there some technical questions as well. Any input would be appreciated.

At least for my case 2 years back, pure competency (one HR+ one associate). You really need to show them why IBD, why Rothschild compared to other BBs. Good luck!

Hi, I have a final round interview with Rothschild in London coming up for summer analyst. One of the points on the agenda is that I am supposed to put together a 3 slide/5 minute presentation about a deal (related to mergers and acquisitions, debt, restructuring or equity) which is of interest to me. In addition, there will be a question and answer session afterwards.
Any ideas for deals or how one should structure this presentation?

wow!! the first round might just ask some competency questions, woundnt be too difficult i guess. Second round will ask some technical questions. Good luck! i am still waiting.

I dont think so, at least it wont happen at first round.
When did you apply and when were you invited to the test? I applied fos a summer internship 2 weeks ago, but I still haven't heard anything.
