Not in IB (currently a VP in PE) but also thinking about returning to IB or going corp dev.
Care to share why you are thinking of leaving corp dev to go back to IB? Seems like less people go back to IB after corp dev. On the other hand, know growing cases of people going back to IB after PE
thinking of a similar move - questioning whether the banking skillset (and stress factor) is more fitting for me. how is it going on your end?
Was dual tracking lateral PE and corp dev recruiting but no luck so far.. not sure if hiring will pick up or have to wait until after the new year. Like IB for the cash comp and relatively less stress compared to PE but don't see myself wanting to be a career IB person so not sure what to do...
