Interviewing discretly

Hi All,

For context, I'm a 2nd year analyst at a small M&A boutique based in an European country. I'm planning to start to apply to move to the buy-side and I would like to have your advice/comments/feedback on how to proceed. As said earlier, the M&A boutique I work at is small (<10 employees) and I would rather not telling my bosses that I'm planning to quit before actually signing my new employment contract (if any) as it would be almost certainly the starting point for some tension.
I understand that the best solution would be to do the interviews while working from home but we do not have a work from home policy. I can't ask to another junior to cover from me while I'm out of the office as we are a very small team so my bosses will know that I'm not a my desk. I guess I can try to pretend that I have medical appointments to go to potential interviews but I'm pretty sure it will not work more than two or three times.
Would anyone have any advice or even feedback if you have been in a similar situation?
Thank you very much.

Best
