Introductory Interview
Hey everyone, just an undergrad senior that needs some advice/wisdom. I applied for an analyst role at one of my dream companies (F500, non-finance) and I networked pretty hard to get my foot in the door.
Upon speaking with a senior level manager about the role, I was informed that the position had already been filled. That said senior level manager said he would love to conduct an introductory interview with me to see if I would potentially be a fit for any other similar roles.
Has anyone here ever been in an “introductory interview” that can speak about how it went and what I should/could expect? I’ve just been preparing as much as if it were a normal first-round interview and would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
