Depends on what your future goals are and then it should be easy to answer. How did you manage to find the first position?

My future goals are working in asset management and eventually a hedge fund. After speaking with a few people at Goldman, I've found both the relationship side and research side of asset management to be interesting. As far as working at a hedge fund (whereI wouldn't expect to land a position for at least a few years) I'm more interested in a research analyst position, doing fundamental analysis.

I found the first position on a job board by simply searching "investment analyst". I have no connections to the firm, I come from a non-target and I didn't bother to make any cold calls.

I would say investment analyst offer then. If you desire to do some sort of buyside ER role down the road, the modeling skills will be transferable and somewhat helpful. Sales assistant not so much, the client relationship is a good skillset to have but financial modeling > that anyday.

Congrats on the offers! Any offer in this market is good.
