Investment Banking in LatAm / Brazil
Hi guys,
I am currently based in Brazil and working at a M&A boutique, but looking forward to make a lateral move to IB at a local investment bank or global BB branch.
I've seen that recruiting processes in the U.S. and Europe have been going relatively well, even with the COVID-19 situation. What about LatAm, Brazil, Chile, etc.?
Are recruiting processes frozen? Have they been suspended? If yes, when do you think banks will start hiring again?
If someone based in Sao Paulo could provide some input regarding this, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Would like to know about that too.
Cool bro.. let's hope, but it seems there aren't a lot of LatAm bankers around so we can have some info regarding this..
hiring olnly frooze at smaller banks: think lazard rotschild moelis
at the big ones,(btg, bofa,..)people are working a lot so opportunities to break in are definitly there.
Thanks for the reply.
Great to hear that. Just sent you a PM regarding this.
Hey, just came across this post! Do you mind if I ask some questions about the recruitment process at Brazil?
