Is a Brokerage Internship useful?
Incoming sophomore. Got a brokerage house internship. What they do is picking up calls from asset managers and execute their orders. I asked them for work to do and they told me that I didn't have a SEC license to execute orders so I should just observe.It feels like a waste of time to sit there doing nothing when I can party and read.I am getting paid to sit in front of a desk and do nothing. I think this is just a waste of time and planning to quit (I can get the same money doing something fun)
