Is a computer science minor worth it

Assuming my Goal is to get into IB at a BB and then leave after 2 or 3 years go into something with a better work like balance e.g corporate finance, corporate strategy or product management at a tech firm would you say a minor in computer science is useful .would it help, in college I am worried that it may lower my GPA  if I chose to pursue a double major or am I just better off doing finance alone.

A minor isn't a double major. Take some courses outside of school and see whether you're interested in the concepts. CS can be hard.

CS is not worth it. However, learning to program is. I would recommend learning Python and you can do that on your own time while in college, you don't need to go through CS to learn that (and most CS programs teach Java, C++, etc, not a whole lot of Python).

Yes. There's plenty of online courses you can use to learn it and plenty of free tools to help you run it on your machine. Just take a couple of lessons and then practice, practice, practice on a variety of datasets and libraries and you can then add that skill to your resume.
