so is it almost impossible to break in as a non target, or they actually look at every resume?
from my experience it's impossible. Seems as though online applications dont get through if they arent from a target university. This is probably different for smaller boutique shops.
what about places like NYU and UVA, do you know how that works?
People are more likely to respond if you know how to properly write a linkedin message / email.
