Thought they recruit pretty late but investment Bank: Corporate Finance Internship application already opened and closed. Is that the same as regular IB recruiting?

I’m not aware of this role but corporate finance is different from the IB role you’re thinking of. Sounds like an internal finance business function that sits in the IB, for example running P&L etc.
Not true for their internship program. Corporate finance is their IBD SA roles excluding ECM/DCM - unlike other banks where you could get placed in capital markets from IBD.
They’re doing two rounds. The first one opened and closed in March, then they’re doing another round in July to finish filling their summer analyst class
Did they already send out interview invites?
