I’m a highschool student who is pursuing a career in IB. I have vague knowledge on other finance careers and no interest in other fields (healthcare, engineering, tech). I’m a hard worker and know about the work life balance aspect of the career. Are there certain people that make it in finance? What are niche things you wish you could’ve knew 10 years ago? Focus on getting into the best college you can and join the finance club there. In the meantime enjoy being a kid. You can only do so much right now. Grind hard freshman and sophomore year of college and that’s it.
