Is it normal for background check to take this long?
I'm starting for FT role in a month and we got information to get our background check initiated a few weeks ago and I got fingerprinted shortly after they gave us info on it around late April. It's coming on the third week and I'm just curious what could be taking so long? I did reach out to the background check company about a week ago to ask about something unrelated to the status and they happened to just notify me on the call that the check was completed (like a day after I got fingerprinted), but I have still not heard anything from the firm.

I was told that onboarding can take up to 6 weeks.
