Is it possible to work on Wall Street from UMass Amherst?

I recently got accepted into UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Business. I am wondering if you guys think its possible to work on Wall Street/ in investment banking from UM-A? If so, what things should I do to stand out? Its definitely not a top Ivy-League or a target school... I know, you don't have to tell me twice haha

Current UMass Student and it’s definitely possible to break into the industry from Isenberg. Important to try and get into the campus funds as they will definitely give you a leg up recruiting wise.

UMass Amherst will not per se put you at any form of advantage however there are a handful of students who place into high finance (IB, S&T, ER, and even buy side) from UMass Amherst. They also have multiple selective campus funds that allow you to compete at a high level. You will have to network your a*s off to get your foot into the door however it’s very possible to pull it off. It’s the typical non target grind... Pm me if you want to chat.
