Is it worth applying to a job which requires 3-6mo when you can only work for 1-2 months?

I saw a posting for a recent job, and some of them requires 3-6 months when I can only work for 2 months at best before the school starts.

I sometimes heard that negotiating terms of working might be possible, but just wanted second opinion on this.

Thank you!

Why would you waste money by negotiating working periods? Apply and try and get an interview first, then explain your situation. Most summer internships/jobs will work with you to accommodate if they see potential in you.
