Is LinkedIn a good way to find jobs?

Is LinkedIn really a good way of looking for jobs? every job seems to have 100s of candidates and I never seem to hear back (even when my resume should be good fit for the job).

Was hoping I can hear from people who have successfully recruited for banking through any of these portals?

Applying through HR or any other job search app is a waste of time. What you have to do is use LinkedIn to find the !name of the people in the companies of interest and reach out to them. Also, don’t reach out through LinkedIn, always message them to their work email or get introduced through a mutual connection.
