IU Kelley vs U of A Wall Street Scholars

I’m an incoming college student this fall and am deciding between IU Kelley direct admission and the university of Arizona. IU would cost ~$200k which would be taken out in loans where as U of A would be free with scholarship and in state tuition. My question is, is Kelley worth that much in loans if my goal is breaking into S&T, IB, or PE. Does anyone have experience with the Wall Street Scholars Program at U of A and think it’s a better opportunity considering it’s free? Any advice would be much appreciated!

You should take UofA. I’m from Arizona and placed at ASU. Happy to chat if you have any questions

Was in a similar spot, took the full ride to a southern state school and got BB IB. Couldn’t be happier. You’ll have to hustle from either so save the money. If this were U Mich / UVA it might be worth it, but outside of gambling on getting into the IBW your prospects aren’t materially better from IU.

Less of a school-vs-school debate because both will be fun and make you well-rounded, but more as a recruiting-platform question. Kelley’s IBW gives a real edge, but it’s only worth it if you’re confident you can get in to one of the top clubs / programs. I’d lean Kelley for the stronger Wall Street pipeline, but if you’d be taking on meaningfully more debt, UA can absolutely be the smarter play, but definitely much harder. Worth checking our of UA has longstanding recruiting partnerships / guaranteed spots each year at banks (a 5 minute chat with a current student would be able tell you what banks recruit from the program / how competitive the spots realistically are)
