Job seekers advice
Can somebody give me a proper advice.
Is cold emailing and cold calling Analyst, Associate or Hiring Manager far better approach than applying strictly through company website because it only goes to company database.
Email before calling, but yes....100x better than applying online.
The problem is more with your resume than with your job search technique. Lose University of West Haven MBA from your resume. Replace it with a Top 10 MBA degree. Come up with a good explanation of why you got fired from Bloomberg after 6 months and why you could not find a job for over a year. That will get you the new job, not harassing the working people.
Thanks for the advice but I did not get fired at Bloomberg my project ended and I never harassed any working people. So sorry are you questioning my work habit. Job Market in NYC is very hard, have you not heard about financial melt-down. There are lot of people you don't come from TOP MBA schools and work in the financial firms.
