Joining a Fundless Sponsor

Great people!

I work as a transaction officer in a DFI (A Guarantee Company, actually) outside Europe, Asia and North America. Exposure not too good, as we focus on local deals. I have been approached by a Fundless Sponsor (Private Equity) with focus on EMEA and Asia deals. Partners are quite well experienced and very close to top LPs. Pay is better than where I am currently.

The arrangement seems okay, but the thought of working with a PE firm with no fund (they started very recently and plan to raise capital in 2-3 years) is not helping.

I would appreciate comments and advice from the good people on this forum.
