JPM PB Investment Solutions vs Institutional Gatekeeper Role
I have an offer at JPM Private Bank on the investment solutions side, which sounds really cool (more client related/distribution side), but I feel as though it'll pigeonhole me to just private clients. Team at JPM are super nice and genuinely feel like I'd learn a ton since team is quite lean. Long term would love to do buyside fundraising at MF or be at a PFG at BB/EB. I have another offer at an investment consultant place, (think Stepstone, NEPC and portfolio advisory vibes), and it's a really, really great group of people and would expose me to the institutional client base. Both offers genuinely seem really cool and think they could both set me up for where I want to go, just really unsure as what to pick. Anyone have any advice/have any experience in these two jobs? Thanks!
