How competitive is it to become a member of this work shop. Is there an specific acceptance rate or percentage that somebody could share? Thank you

The IBW is Kelley's most competitive workshop and requires the longest commitment before being eligible to apply. It's not just about the acceptance rate: There is now a diversity quota (which means if you're white or asian, your eligible spots get cut). You also need to successfully complete the two courses before applying. If you look at those who took both classes, did well in them, and have good relationships with those in the workshop, the chances of you getting in can be a bit higher than just what the percentage says.

Last year for the class of 2022 they let in 70 people, the year before 2021 was 80. It’s slowly becoming more competitive because they’re letting in less and less students and more are applying. Last year was around 300 applicants. So 23%.
