Lagging Situtation with an Internship
I just wanted to hear thoughts on this situation. I was able to get an internship at Euronext through a fairly solid connection ( Euronext floor supervisor) who is friends with my dad. She had told me she will guarantee me the internship position. I asked for the application which she had told me she would get to me as it's not listed on the website. It's been two weeks and she still has not delivered it to me. I've called her and she's been saying that she would get it to me tomorrow ( saying this for about 2 weeks). After a while she's been ignoring my calls. Out of the blue she texted me (yesterday) to tell me she hasn't forgotten about me and that she's been visiting her mom who is sick. At this point, I'm getting tired of wasting my time and hers with this application. I've been persistent, but it's getting nowhere. So, I was thinking of going there in person to pick it up (hoping she picks up my call) or just move on and continute to network for another internship before it's too late. Sorry about the long post but inpute would be greatly appreciated.

be sympathetic with her mother's condition and suggest if it would make things more convenient to her if you just came by and pick it up.
