Lateral Hire Post Super Day
I am interviewing for a lateral analyst roll and completed the super day about a week and a half ago. I followed up about 5 business days after the interview to check on status and HR responded the following day saying they were still internally discussing and that there will be an answer very soon. That was 3 business days ago.
Does anyone know if the lateral hiring process typically drags out much longer that a typical university hiring process or am I being strung along as a backup?
Would love to hear some thoughts. TIA.
