Lateral move to NYC

Hello, I accepted a SA offer and was wondering what is the process or what are some steps I can be taking to try and secure a full time role in nyc assuming I get a FT offer. SA is still in IBD at a BB, but in a city like Houston/SLC/SF/LA.
