Lateral Recruiting Question
Should you ever feel bad about lateralling early, within ~6-8 months of starting if you've received a better opportunity, location, and pay?

Career Resources
Nah man in this industry you have to be cold blooded. Put yourself first.
Need more context -- would the firm you would be going to set you up for your long term goals?
For example, I'm currently a Y1 Analyst at a small tech boutique shop on the West Coast. Hours are only 65-75 hrs / week but the culture is pretty chill and the few MD's out here really vouch and look out for the juniors. Couldn't see myself lateraling to an EB, even if the pay was better, knowing that I'd probably be out in 1-2 years and would have to sacrifice culture.
Would put into perspective what you're really looking to get out of this industry.
