Lateraling as a First Year?
Hello all. How is the lateral market right now (MM to EB/BB)? Are places hiring/looking for first years? Is this possible with a few months of experience? Thanks

Curious.
Wondering this as well. I landed a gig as an analyst for a regional boutique when I graduated college back in May. The job is fine but I'm definitely looking to make a move to a larger firm. The problem is I'm stuck in the weird spot as being not able to apply to the graduate programs since I already graduated but I wouldn't necessarily consider myself an "experienced professional" to be able to land any of the other roles at the big banks.
Yes
Any more detail on this?
Friend lateraled 9 months in.
The lateral market is the hottest it’s possibly ever been in history right now.
Bump
I've had several lateral interviews after starting FT in May after graduating, but the feedback that I've received from most is that I was passed over for someone more experienced.
How are you finding the roles to apply to? Are you applying to graduate type programs or positions for "experienced professionals"
Mostly from applying to online postings and some from networking.
Are u at a small boutique?
