Lazard have summer internships and industrial placements that students can apply to. In fact, there have been numerous occasions where interns/placement students are not even current students; seems that they have a valid reason for wanting to move into IB though.

Thank you! Would you know whether they a recent grad can apply for internships? Either off cycle or summer. Have a connection with a Director in the London office (not in Investment Banking) and he has asked me to check so he can make a relevant contact.

I think you should be able to apply to the summer internship. But email HR first to confirm.
